And the highlight was the first camping trip! Which unfortunately daddy missed, since he had a change of plans and flew to England for his grandmother's funeral instead of coming to Utah.
The boy's first canyoneering trip. Too bad the poor boy had a cold and this is about the only time he slept during the five-day trip.

The night before we left we got to visit with some of the extended family. Here he is having fun with grandpa on the slide at Great Auntie's house.
Sporting his new and first ever haircut, the boy helps pack the suitcase for the next part of the trip--to Washington (where we finally met up with daddy again after nearly two weeks!).
