Last Saturday was gorgeous, so we took a trip to the National Zoo. We started with the mild mannered farm animals. Next we caught the orangutans on the "O Line," which lets them travel between buildings high overhead. (That was my favorite--I've always wanted to catch them up there!) We finished up with elephants, which were the boy's favorite. We learned that elephants trump dogs (but buses trump elephants).

I'm so jealous! I lived by the zoo for a year and still never managed to catch the orangs overhead. Excellent.
